"Sin Perdón: Acquiescence with Murder:
While fire-eaters, both North & South, fanned controversial flames into open, armed hostilities, the political situation south of the 1860 US-Mexico border was also quickly deteriorating. Prior to opening shots at Fort Sumter, Liberal Republican President Benito Juarez wrested power away from the clerical Conservatives who had held the country in a oppressive grip since before Spain's embarrassing evacuation. Juarez's election, and subsequent persecutions, prompted affluent expatriate Conservatives to flee to Europe, where, as political refugees, they gained the sympathies of France's Napoleon III. Seeing the turmoil brewing in the U.S., Napoleon, backed by some of Europe's most influential bankers, gambled and embarked on the mission of regaining a foot-hold on the western continent that had been lost since the publication of the U.S.'s Monroe Doctrine. This Napoleon accomplished by convincing Austria's Archduke Maximilian in accepting the "Crown of Mexico," which would be propped-up by French expeditionary forces (The French Foreign Legion). However, when the devastating U.S. turmoil concluded with the subjugation of the South, U.S. Secretary of State, William Seward, issued a threatening ultimatum demanding Napoleon to immediately withdraw French troops from Mexico, or face the consequences of war with the United States. With the final embarkation of the French Foreign Legion from the coastal port of Vera Cruz, it was only a matter of time before Maximilian realized his puppet-government could not survive without exterior military support. Convinced that forging peaceful, political alliances with the victorious North as his only formula for successful existence, Maximilian spurned the overtures of displaced, unrepentant CSA Generals who offered their services. Seward, however, rejected Maximilian's unbelievable proposals. With his stunningly beautiful bride having returned to Europe, seeking the reestablishment of withdrawn monetary and military support from governments and the Vatican, Maximilian made his last stand against converging loyal Juaristas at an old Spanish town north of that republic's capital. NOW AVAILABLE!!! "Dancing with the Philistines: The Life & Times of Caleb Huse"
There he was - a highly regarded instructor at the University of Alabama – when official notices arrived from the headquarters of the break-away Confederacy, to report immediately to the CSA’s equivalency of the Federal “White House.” Wars & rumors of war had been increasing, but he had already served his time in the military. He wanted to settle down and raise his rapidly growing family. Nevertheless, he reported to none other than CSA President Jefferson Davis himself, who provided him with written instructions directing him to travel to Europe. This would be difficult, given the fact that the whole continent was in an up-roar over Europe’s inclination toward supporting the CSA. Anyone traveling to Europe would be scrutinized, sanctioned, and worse: imprisoned – if the “patriotic” lynch-mobs didn’t attack him first. Secession fever spared no one! After bidding his family a sad farewell, he traveled to Canada, where passenger-securitization was not so pronounced. His mission? Single-handedly acquire supplies & war materiel for the standing armies of the CSA. However, after arriving, he determined that the Federal government already had had the same tactical idea. So, it was now up to him to comply with his clandestine mission: Not only acquire supplies and war materiel, but oft-times even contracting to have the very ships built that would transport this precious cargo across the Atlantic, trans-loaded in the Caribbean islands, and race in to Southern ports ~ all the while “dancing” with those he considered to be “Philistines.” The man? Colonel Caleb Huse. . . . . . Hard-Cover w/ Dust Jacket: $25.00 (Plus $3.72 Postage - in the U.S.) Contains MANY B & W Images - some never seen, before

Rarely, in the course of human history, have the lives of two individuals had such a profound impacting ~ than the lives of the Honorable Senator James M. Mason (D-VA) and the Honorable Senator John Slidell (D-LA). James, a direct descendent of a long line of notable Americans, to include a signer of the Declaration of Independence and a team-member of the now famous Mason-Dixon Line, came by his “station” in life naturally. John, originally hailing from the State of New York, broke onto the political scene with numerous, negative false-starts and discouraging electoral results ~ after having to flee to the State of Louisiana following the alleged shooting of a man who confronted John for dalliances with his wife. Following several attempts at becoming a U.S. Representative & Senator, John was eventually successful & became a powerful ally, especially in the Buchanan for President Campaign. Both men were staunch “State’s Rights” advocates, and both spent no little time on the senate floor extolling such arguments. John was selected to be Ambassador to Mexico, and finesse the acquisition of territory that now makes up the southern portion of the United States. Due to John’s unbending, uncompromising attitude, he recommended the real estate be seized by force, and the U.S. went to war with Mexico. James authored the controversial Fugitive Slave Law, that singlehandedly did more to hasten the initiation of armed hostilities than any other conflict brewing during the mid-1800’s. Once the lower states made the decision to break-away from the Republic, James & John were selected by the CSA Congress to be Special Envoys in Europe ~ seeking support and recognition for the newly-formed Confederacy. But, their mission was stymied by the "Trent Affair." Hard-Cover w/ Dust Jacket: $25.00. (Plus $3.72 Postage - in the U.S.) Contains MANY B & W Images!

COMING SOON!!! "High & Holy Causes: Archbishop John Hughes in the American Civil War."
Before there was ever a “Saint Patrick’s Cathedral,” there was a fiery Irish immigrant who the socio-political world would soon know as: John Hughes. Before there was “Gangs of New York City,” there was: John Hughes. Before there was national discontent, that would plunge the entire Country into four, long, arduous years of armed-conflict, pitting brother against brother, and Christians against Christians, there was a feisty Irishman who everyone would come to know as: John Hughes. Before, during, and after Abraham Lincoln and William Seward, there was an individual who dared to stand-for, and go-against, any Leviathan or Goliath – that stood in his way, when it came to the betterment of society, particularly as it pertained to the down-trodden Irish that made up his steadily growing parish. As it is with any and all of my historical tomes, this is the little-known story of a man who time has, basically, forgotten. It is a story of an individual, slight in stature – but, huge in beliefs and convictions, who, single-handedly, took-on the racist-bigoted society of the mid-1800’s, introduced and strengthened a weak and tottering Catholicism to the Americas, and, to his last, dying breath, ensured that the “no [Catholic] child left behind,” of the future George Bush Legacy, was, in fact, a reality that law-makers would not soon, or ever, forget. Before there was a systemized-education template, there was: John Hughes. Hard-Cover w/ Dust Jacket: $25.00 (Plus $3.72 Postage - in the U.S.) Contains MANY B & W Images!

BOTH sides prayed to the same God. BOTH sides, apparently, believed in the same God. BOTH sides contained "men-of-Faith," who were devout beyond models present in the 21st Century. BOTH sides believe that, in their heart of hearts, they were ‘right,’ and that being ‘right,’ God would have to look favorable upon the one, and unfavorably upon the other. However, could the God of the Universe truly be ‘persuaded’ to chose sides, such as was playing out in the socio-political arenas all across 1800-Americana? Could the God who created all things, both great and small, be interested in the ‘affairs’ that men had involved themselves with, due to missteps, folly, and greed, which had ultimately ended in a clash-of-arms? As the blood of patriotic Americans was spilled upon battlefields across the South, and prayers of supplication arose before the God of everything, the Church in Rome was not idle in stretching forth its particular ecclesiastical influence on both sides, utilizing its well-placed mouth-pieces to become its official mouth-pieces in the conflict. And, God did NOT succor the side who won. MANY B/W images!! Hard-Cover w/ Dust Jacket: $25.00 (Plus $3.72 Postage - in the U.S.) Contains MANY B & W Images!

COMING SOON!!! "Drawn for the Slaughter: General R. E. Lee's First Invasion of Maryland"
General Robert E. Lee was in a quandry. Not only had he seen the hardships & suffering of his foot-soilders, but the countryside of his beloved Virginia was being razed. Crops were being violated. Starvation of the local populous was inevitable. Thus, he formulated a plan to "take the war to the enemy," and in the process maybe, just maybe, he could locate some food and sustainance for his hungry army. He heard that MD & PA had food to spare. So, following an embarrasing victory at First Bull Run, and a pocket full of dreams, Lee set his sights on Yakee Territory. One small problem: Northern legislators and Mayors became aware of Lee's intentions and petitioned Lincoln directly for Federal troops to bolster the borders of their cities. Lincoln, or course, reticent, suggested other methods of withstanding the CSA Army's advnace on their cities. So that he would not face any opposition from Federal forces stationed at Harper's Ferry, General Lee dispatched his most able commanders to invest that Federal stronghold. The one-sided battle that followed was just a pre-cursor to what was subsequently to occur on South Mountain and the most bloodiest struggle American had ever witnessed until that time on the fields of a small, seemingly insignificant Northern town identified only as: Sharpsburg. COMING SOON!!! "Enemy of the State: Lincoln and the U.S. Constitution"
Although there will be more than sufficient varying points of view, from either side of the aisle, the truth remains that the liberties and freedoms, as provided by the U.S. Constitution in both the 1860 and 1864 presidential elections, were grossly trampled-upon by the newly elected, first-ever ‘Republican’ president. So much so, in fact, that a once and future ‘president,’ would not only fashion himself after the 1860’s-president, but do everything in his fraudulent, self-proclaimed, dictatorial-powers to dismantle the document that, for centuries, has stood the test of time, and provided the foundation for everything the United States holds near and dear. But, the mechanism that provided the precedence for the same illegal and treasonous actions of future presidents was placed into motion when, under the guise of “maintaining the Union together,” a sitting president took it upon himself to negate and go contrary to the very laws he swore to uphold and defend – thereby becoming one of this Country’s “Enemies of State.” As you shall see, people were previously (and, quite possibly, these actions may very well be repeated!) unjustly imprisoned merely for the governmental-perception of what they might have been thinking. The people came from all walks of life – from elected government officials, down to the every-day, common man. It happened then ~ it can happen, again. COMING SOON!!! "Broken Peace-Pipes: Albert Pike and American Indians in the Confederacy"
Volumes have already been filled with the exploits of Albert Pike as he rose to preeminence within the ranks of the Masons. So, it will not be our ‘goal’ to build upon those prolific works, save where it touches, significantly, upon the life of the military officer who was selected to approach the various tribes of the Native American Indians, first with treaties and proposals – as presented by the U.S. Federal government, followed by additional ‘Peace Treaties,’ none of which amounted to anything of value than the old parchment upon which were written the empty and hollow words. Because, the American Indians had already witnessed many, many such treaties with the ‘round eye,’ and all had come to naught. Treaties were signed in what has become known as ‘The Treaty Room,’ located in the Old Executive Offices, adjacent to the West Wing of the White House. But, all, categorically, had the same results – the corralling of the Native Americans, and the systematic encroachment on their lands, by the white-man, who was quick to make ‘treaties’ but, not so quick to ensure they were followed to the letter of the law. When ‘The War” came, many tribesmen cast their lots with the peoples of the South...those who had ALSO been treated harshly and unfairly by the Federal government. This is their story. COMING SOON!!! "The Great White Fathers of Texas"
After years of study and research, I have been convinced, beyond a reasonable doubt (if, indeed, I ever HAD one!) that the Assassination of President John F. Kennedy, on that cool, cloudy morning of 22 November, 1963, was not the actions of some deranged-nut - firing from the sixth-floor window of the EAST window of the Texas School Book Depository. There were forces afoot that include some of the Nation's most powerful, and ruthless, individuals - many of whom resided in the State of Texas, that insisted on "running the government" as THEY deemed appropriate. And, anyone who DARED to stand against them, always were found dead, under circumstantial / mysterious circumstances - and whose deaths, invariable, were ruled a: Suicide (by sheriffs or coroners who were in the circles of these powerful cabals. In "Great White Fathers" it will be my intention to "name the names" and "connect the dots." None of this is "secret information," and is available if anyone has the time to pour through information, as I have. However . . . many who have ATTEMPTED to divulge this information, in previous years, have inadvertently shown up as cadavers - under "mysterious circumstances" (i.e.: like the individual whose brother found his blooded and beaten corpse beside his pick-up, almost a mile from any road, shot five times in the chest with a .22 caliber rifle! The Sheriff ruled it a: Suicide). Like I said . . . It may be "awhile" before this book goes to "publication."
