l have been writing for most of my life. In an "Official, Military Manner," for some 20 years. In an unofficial, non-fiction, biographical manner, perhaps, some 35 years.

I first began my military career as a Field Artilleryman. But, once l realized the potentials that the Army Criminal Investigation Division held, l applied for and was accepted into their Special Agent Program - where l served for seven years, before "going Warrant Officer" (when my 'writing career' was really tested). It was in Warrant Officer School that we were given written assignments on the leadership styles of Civil War Generals - either side - it didn't matter. That whetted my appetite for all things "Civil War." I developed an interest in individuals, and incidents, who had lesser, or no known levels of involvement in, the Civil War.
